When you plug your Libra 2 to a charger, do you see any LEDs light up?

Remember the screen on your Kobo is bistable. Without rewriting the screen, it will stay the same. You might want to check the ribbon cables and the battery connector to make sure they are all properly seated and the battery voltage to make sure that it is charged.
