On a hunch, I tried rmkit in landscape rotation and got the same "NOT SHOWING LAUNCHER IN LANDSCAPE" as Clouds.

So I removed the condition.

$ nano -l src/remux/launcher.cpy

Code:

  34 //#define PORTRAIT_ONLY

Now I don't get the message.
Clouds can you try this one please?
