Your Kindle Voyage has an older firmware, the 5.13.6, I guess. Most recent 5.16.6 for newer Kindle may play better with Pocket.

Why didn't you get a Paperwhite instead? Because of the absence of buttons? If so, personnaly, I bought a clear case and put a popsocket on the back. I don't feel the need for buttons anymore.
