@chaley, just letting you know, this morning I got this glitch with calibre 7.4 on Windows 10… and I do use View Manager.

On pressing F2 on a mid-row Integer cell it opened at extreme left over the top of the leftmost cell, rather than in-place. No harm done, I entered the value, pressed enter and it displayed where it should, when I entered the value followed by Tab the value entered displayed where it should, and the next cell opened for edit.

I haven't been able to reproduce, not that I tried very hard. I was dodging in and out of the Windows calculator at the time.

Let me know if you want me to try harder.

I have a suspicion it's happened before. When I enter metadata I'm normally looking at the source of the metadata, rather than what's happening in calibre.
