Kindle Firmware Update 5.16.6.1 (Scribe only)
There is a new firmware update, 5.16.6.1, currently showing for the Scribe only.

Release notes appear to be the same as the prior release, 5.16.6.


Added: Comparing to the previous release shows only updates to a few internal software libraries including some related to webkit and mtp. Apparently just a minor bug fix release.
