Win 11 not an option ( hardware is ''''obsolete'''' ...)

But my Kobo Libra 2 while detected by Win7 was not by Calibre 3.4.
So I tried under Win 10 with Calibre 7.4 installed, and copied in another folder my ebook collection ( just to be sure no problem could happen to my Win7 database ...)

Question is : can I simply use the same folder under Calibre 7.4 and 3.4 without compromising my database ??? That would be quite simpler of course.

TIA to expert users
What is it you run under Windows 7 that will not run on Windows 10?

I agree 100% that you would be better to make Windows 10 your primary operating system. Then you can use calibre 7 and not have to worry about the database.
