Thank you for the help, I ended up compromising a bit on my requirements for the setup. I ended up registering it with a sufficient degree of anonymity, at least a degree that I am willing to accept for the time being. However I am facing a different problem in that the Scribe forces me to download and install a firmware upgrade right after registration, and again preventing use of the device until it is complete. I have tried interrupting the process by turning off my WiFi network, and also by restarting the kindle, but neither circumvents the update. I want to keep my current firmware because I believe it is at the maximum firmware version still compatible with the LanguageBreak jailbreak. Is there any known method to bypass this? I would like to keep the option of jailbreaking open, thanks.
