I modify update-ca-certificates file and looks like was able to update certs:
/$ update-ca-certificates
Updating certificates in /etc/ssl/certs...
0 added, 0 removed; done.
Running hooks in /etc/ca-certificates/update.d...
done.
Now I have bunch of pem certs in ssl/cert folder.
Unfortunately still not able to get secure connection with webpages.
