The brand new TCL NxtPaper 14 Pro is one of the first products from TCL to be equipped with a brand new NxtPaper 3.0 display. Specifically, a 14-inch LCD in 16:10 format is used, which achieves a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels and a frame rate of 120 Hz. The panel is 10 percent brighter and now reaches 700 nits.

NxtPaper 3.0 is characterized by a paper-like screen surface for fewer reflections, automatic adjustment of the color temperature to the ambient light, and an integrated blue light filter to protect the eyes. Recently, a polarizing filter has also been added to the screen design to get even closer to the look of paper. The NxtPaper 14 Pro has pogo pins on the underside so that an optional keyboard cover can be attached.

The TCL NxtPaper 14 Pro is expected to be launched in the spring of 2024, but the manufacturer has not yet published any information on the price.
It will be at least 16 million shades/hues/contrast/brightness.

Also you can turn the brightness down. All color eink ereaders need the LED front light on anyway except in bright sunlight.
