It started snowing here at 1:30 in the afternoon. We are, as usual, right on the dividing line between weather systems -- heavy snow with little rain is expected to our north and west, while one to two inches of snow followed by heavy rain that washes it out are due south and east of us. Right now we have a couple of inches of snow and the temperature is 33°F, but it should rise slightly overnight as the winds shift and bring in the rain. Odds are we'll have an inch or two of sodden snow still on the ground before the rain and snow move on tomorrow.
