I have a scheduled job to fetch news which currently saves the output in .kepub format. How can I change the job so that it downloads to epub instead?

I have tried converting the kepub file to epub but after half an hour it was still only 1% complete!

EDIT: Sorry I've just realised that I have kepub/kobo set as my default output format. Please ignore!
