Unable to edit my previous post, but wanted to add that it seems the color filter on the inkpad color 3 is always visible even in black and white mode, and darkens the screen considerably.
Have to say the contrast situation on the Inkpad 4 is very bad and it makes text seem very blurry.
Increasing font weight can help slightly, but not enough.
