Yeah, you need to change the date manually, since the plugin never change your calibre library.
About the rereading, I'm not sure how to proceed. This happens only for books you started, but did not finish before migrating. Books with 0% will not have this problem.
The only way I can think of is to consider a rereading only if the book reached 100% in the past year. Not ideal, but maybe a better solution.
