I'm just the opposite. I loved Wool (the first one). I have only a handful of books that I have marked as "5 stars" in Calibre, and Wool is one of them.

Now when it comes to "The Road", I didn't make it very far in that one. I don't I even made it out of the first chapter IIRC. I knew right off, "This isn't for me".

It's funny how we are all so different in what we like. But that's a good thing - we have so many choices available to us because of this.
