My mom picked up a few of the Aurora Teagarden series in p-book ages ago (at that time that's all there was!). Then I found the Lily Bard series. So I fell in love with Charlaine Harris before Sookie was even a gleam in her eye. The vampire books are a lot crazier and lighter than her previous series - and the Harper Connelly series is again different. If I didn't know better, I'd swear it's a team of ghostwriters, LOL.
