I had my 69th birthday in August of 2020. I kept to myself but took a long walk in the park by the Hudson River and then took out a good meal from a restaurant.

My 50th birthday in 2001 was three weeks before 9/11. I had been to a flute convention in Dallas just before it and ate out at restaurants there, so I didn't do much for my birthday after I returned.
