@Apache - uninstall via the control panel, then make sure the Calibre2 sub-directory has gone from wherever it was installed -- e.g. C:\Program Files.
If it hasn't, use brute force (i.e. assume the Admin position). Then re-install from a fresh download.
You won't lose settings or library.
