I installed RenameOTAbin and launched it through KUAL, then:
> Rename OTA binaries > "Rename"
then Kindle rebooted to splashscreen.
Can someone confirm this procedure is enough to prevent auto-updates from Amazon? I noticed some people mention "KUAL Helper" too, is that necessary to install?
I can't find any centralized thread about this.
Also, is there a way to verify that updates are off?
