Upgraded wife's older Paperwhite 6th gen to 11th gen (current). Her Calibre was at 4.xx and it could not see the new Kindle. Upgraded Calibre to current version 7.1.0.

Now Calibre can see the Kindle, and opens "On Device" column, but only one book on the Kindle is visible as "on device" even though there are hundreds of books on the Kindle, mostly all sideloaded from Calibre.

Reading the book list from the Kindle, only about 10 show up, and only the one book is listed as being in Calibre. The other 9 have "unknown author."

Not sure where things went wrong. May have to reset the Kindle as this looks like a database crash.
