I updated my Kindle PW5 8GB from version 14.3.0.1 to version 16.2.1.1, then successfully ran Languagebreak, and installed Kual, Koreader, and Renameotabin. I was able to transfer books via USB using Caliber and I found that the Koreader reads almost all formats while the AZW3s can be read with the Kindle application.
However, I noticed that the Kindle remained in managed mode and some options, such as Airplane Mode, are not available. Reading post 575 by mergen3107, I followed the procedure above, but when I try to resell the device I get a message saying that the battery is too charged, so I can't exit demo mode.
So currently I can use Koreader, while the kindle is in demo mode.
I thought about inserting the 16.2.1.1 file again and rebooting, starting from the beginning, but I'm afraid of doing irreparable damage.
