The only items that can be added to "The menubar" out of the list requested by the OP are View and Help. Possibly since Edit was included in the list, we could add Edit Book, Edit Metadata & Edit Toc.

I tend to agree that the OP was thinking about the editor GUI not the main calibre GUI.

Edit: I went back through my collection of screenshots dating back to calibre 2.85.1 and none of the main GUIs has a File/Edit/View/whatever option.
