Help!

I'm halfway through my last Gamache book by Louise Penny and she has spoiled me. I don't seem to have the patience I used to have for reading novels that aren't incroyable.

Can any of you well-read people recommend something or someone to read that won't disappoint me as I come down off my Penny high?
