Drm is the norm, or drm is an anomaly. Ectaco apparently views it as an anomaly. If you want to purchase and read those proprietary locked down formats, use the correct key, the one provided by the makers, or sold to licensees (who will then trumpet the fact). Also, if you are so inclined, jimmy it.
But Ectaco does say that it has an English-English dictionary, and the responsible, professional, and just plain upfront piece of information I would have liked to have seen is "only txt and fb2 supported".
Have any other jetBook owners had the same experience with the dictionary? Am I mistaken? I'd still like to know if "Dictionaries" should be in my User Settings with the new firmware, like the manual says. Maybe dictionary support is coming for the other file types. Maybe there is a big bug in this "beta" firmware. Kris?
Even though I own the jetBook, I don't have a dog in this race. I would just appreciate some answers.

As I know all dictionaries (English-English, English-Spanish, English-Russian, English-Polish and English-German)available for TXT and FB2 formats and will be available for PRC, ePub, Mobi and RTF formats with next firmware update sometimes in May-June.
