You cannot get a backup out of newer Kindle for Android. See the bottom of the first post here for a workaround: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=352278

There is also a post in the Discussions area at noDRM's GitHub about removing DRM from kfx format downloaded with Kindle for Android.
