This Spring in Virginia has been beautiful. Everyday I go out the door and there are new azaleas blooming. I'm not a fan of the dark pink ones, but there are these light pink ones in the yard that don't get higher than 30 inches even after decades of growth (my parents house, I inherited it) and today, the white ones that don't get higher than 48 inches have burst into full bloom over top of the pink ones. And then some more around that stretch up and out about 10 or 12 feet, white ones mostly with one or 2 purple ones around. And there's like 10 beds of them around the yards and it's just beautiful in combinations with the Dogwoods that have just hit full bloom. Wow... It is just so pretty here.
And 2... Found out today that the vision problems I've been having over the last year, getting worse and worse are not my mother's macular degeneration - but instead are my father's correctable catarracts.... Gonna fix the worst one June 1st! $4K worth, but who cares.. The other might be able to wait until I get back on somebody's health insurance. "victim of the current economics" :P
Wayspooled is in a real good mood..
