Back in the day, when I ordered our Formas, I went directly through Kobo. But, as you're finding, it took a long time to arrive (I'm assuming much of it was customs from Canada to the US). So, when I ordered my Sages, I bought online from Walmart. Those arrived within days. And, when I had to return the first one, I could just walk into that brick and mortar store and do it.

EDIT: I think that direct Kobo order took something like 19 days to arrive. I'll try to look something up to confirm/deny that.
EDIT 2: 11 days. The packing slip for that order is dated the same as my order date. But, it took 11 days to get to me.
