I find the animation to show me that I can borrow library eBooks. It is one interpretation that I think a lot of people will have given that is Etaco says it can handle ePub, PDF, and Mobipocket.

Have a look at the comparison chart when they compare the Sony and Amazon. They do a really good job of fudging the fact there.
