I have noticed a significant improvement in the load times for MS Office 365 applications over the past couple of years… particularly Word.
Even more interesting is that the performance of some add-ins (e.g. ePub Tools) has improved markedly… even though they haven't been updated. IMO, that they still work is in itself remarkable, but that they work better is astonishing. Toxaris' ePUB Tools Dialogue Checker used to routinely wedge on books with lots of dialogue, now it doesn't… the Create date for the MSI installer is 2018-09-11 15:59:42.
Is MS is re-writing Office in Python?
