I thought that those were pretty decent. I am still partial to Roy Marsden, but hey...can't really complain about Carvel.

We did watch that Netflix thing, with the different timeframes, you watch the "show" in whatever order you want, about a heist. Can't think of the name now (sorry). I thought it started out pretty good but I really lost interest by the penultimate episode and I was completely turned off by the last. YMMV.

Tried Bass Reeves and I'm very very undecided. Feels a bit...well. Again, YMMV. I think it's one of those "try it yourself" things.

In desperation, I've been late-night (insomnia) rewatching ye olden Poltergeist:the Legacy which is almost now moer comedic. Between the incredibly bad Atari-esque special effects and the HORRIBLE acting by Helen Shaver (and the endlessly tedious focus on her character's "daughter," of course named KAT, ffs...) it's just...I have to be half-asleep to survive it.

Oh, watched (partly) the movie 355, (or 335? Can't remember) which is an all-girl revue of would-be action-adventure girl assassin/spy stars. If you want to watch a movie in which no men feature, other than as victims, or bad guys, and see a bunch of 85-lb. soaking-wet women throw grown men around like ragdolls, you might like it. I'm so sick of the fact that it takes an act of God to find anything on Netflix, etc. that has even a BALANCED cast (meaning women AND men) or Brit Detective/Cop shows in which every. single. boss. isn't a woman, or, or, or that I'm halfway or more toward just turning off all our subscriptions and sticking with books-only for the next 10 years. Maybe by then, Hollyweird will be over all its latest crazes.

The strike hasn't helped anything either.
sigh.
