One real "curlability" advantage not yet mentioned is the issue of reading with a cat in you lap. My Kindle 2 is so light that I can hold it one-handed over the recumbent feline, rather than trying to balance a hard cover pbook on top of a round furry moving cat who resents sharing attention with books.
Since I have 3 cats - lightness and portability is a real advantage with the Kindle - to suspend over the mountain of purring contentment.
