Glowlight 2013 to lose support in 2024

Just got this email from BN

Dear NOOK GlowLight Owner,

Almost 12 years have passed since Barnes & Noble introduced our eReaders and Tablets. Since then, readers like you have shown how much the Barnes & Noble digital reading experience enhances the joy of reading that we all share. During this time, technology has continued to forge ahead, and we continue our commitment to offer the best reading experience with each new device we release. It is with these advances and changes in technology that support for the NOOK GlowLight, like every good story, must come to an end.

In June 2024 we will be discontinuing all services to your NOOK GlowLight; launched in 2013. Once this has gone into effect, your device will no longer be able to log in, download purchased content, or buy new content. But rest assured — all downloaded digital content (eBooks, magazines, newspapers, audiobooks) will still be accessible on your device, as well as on bn.com, our free NOOK iOS and Android reading apps, and on any new NOOK device you purchase.

As we draw closer to this shutdown of services to your device, please be on the lookout for additional information from B&N. LEARN MORE

Thank you and Happy Reading!
