Oh, never mind, I'm sure I wouldn't understand an explanation, but you might tell me this: shall we go through the jb process again after they will be recompiled?

Apart from that, I kept doing some tests, and so I tried Jose's suggestion, I put Coplate's KUAL and Niluje's hotfix in the mrpackages directory and started mrpi.

So I can confirm that the "Failed to remount ro" is not a showstopper, apparently: I received it both for the hotfix and for KUAL, but the hotfix script showed an "Install successful" before the bomb picture...
While KUAL script still failed immediately, as it did before.

PS: I am not above 5.16.2.1.1 ... In fact, I am below (5.16.2.1). However, KUAL installation doesn't work either
