Ohhh, some people!
Just read a news article about somebody who had thrown a cat in a glass-collecting container! The cat hadn't crawled in it itself (if he had, he did have prepared himself by tying a rope around him). It was injured but alive when the animal rescue saved it.
Luckily, the cat was chipped and its owner will see some charges against him!
