We just had a thunderstorm with the brightest lightning flash and loudest thunder I can remember. With thunderstorms it isn't uncommon that lightning strikes the nearby church tower with a loud crack, but this time it was a very loud and long rumble. Our cats never react much to thunderstorms, but now they did, Maru came to hide underneath my bed and Luna was pi**ed off (her standard reaction with loud and sudden sounds).
It'll rain during the night, but in the morning it should dry up and be mostly dry in the afternoon, which is great since I'm going to Amsterdam in the afternoon. Tomorrow evening a storm starts rolling in and on Thursday there's a weather warning because of stormy condition, hard wind and rain.
