I'm not sure if when it appears to be 80%+ of the cast, you can call them villains anymore. I expect real evil from villains not petty nastiness. Most of the "evil" was on the level of shoplifting a candy bar from a corner store or watching a tank of crabs crawling over each other to get to the top.

When I was off with a nasty flu a while back and more or less forced to watch, I found myself thinking of what Mark Twain said: "The test of any good fiction is that you should care something for the characters; the good to succeed, the bad to fail. The trouble with most fiction is that you want them all to land in hell, together, as quickly as possible."
