Finished Mistworld by Simon Green. Good story but I'm not a fan of apocalyptic so won't be continuing this series. Science Fiction.

Current is Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas. This is a book I bought for my late sister so I'm plopping in the middle of the series. Fantasy.
