Good catch, I had it on an external/blank SD.
I now put the SWUPDATE.bin on the internal SD and yeah, it worked. I was able to update it again. Sadly, Touchscreen didn't work after the update.
BUT, I then downloaded the touchlux 3 (626) firmware (not the most recent one, one before that) and installed it and now
it works. Apparently I had a touchlux 3 all the time? Great, that there's literally no way to see which one I have since they look the same and the model number just says PocketBook 626.
Amazing. It even remembered the bookstore I bought it from several years ago.
I'm a bit curious how it did that. I mean, everything is flashed and brand new. There must be a storage for that, that is not on the sd card. Quite impressive, where did the manufacturers hide that?
