I can't answer your question, but to clarify, are you specifically *wanting* to install the old dictionary and not the new one? There is an Italian Dictionary for Kobo, and I would assume it to be as complete as the previous one.

Thanks for those links, I will try them as well. Yes I'm specifically wanting to install the v1 because as I mentioned the patch for the current firmware doesn't contain any option to patch the dictionaries so I have no other option and the v2 was reportedly significantly worse in comparison to the earlier devoto oli. V1 is high quality 13mb devoto-oli v2 is only 2.5mb, I will try v3 if someone in the know can help me getting it installed with very clear step by step instructions I'm very lost here.

I've already got the latest firmware side loaded by no issues.

If anyone has any tips how to actually do this I'll be very grateful. Desperate to get this working
