I'm still reading Follet's book The Armor of Light. I'm enjoying it as it seems to take place entirely in the fictional town of Kingbridge as opposed to Column of Fire which took place as much in France as Kingsbridge. The Cathedral is no longer center stage, but the clothing industry is and it's a bit typical bad guys in power abusing those less fortunate.

My next reads I just bought today on Amazon deals of the day. The Night Watchman by Erdrich and Sea of Tranquility by by Mandel. Sci-fi isn't my normal go to but I enjoyed Mandel's Station Eleven so I thought I'd give this a whirl.
