It's true everyone brought their A-game to the production.Now that i think about it, they used the same model when they first started making mini series in the mid 70's. Adapt best sellers like Roots and Rich Man Poor Man, hire old time character actors to give the production weight and hopfully find that next movie idol for the lead.
