I love Twitter, since I mostly use it to connect with all my book blogger friends (and other book people: publishers, professional reviews, etc). I think it's fun! It's quicker than email and slower than chat (which makes me nervous), so it's perfect for my life at the moment. I don't use Facebook, though-- can't see the point. It's so chunky and I don't have use for most of the features, so Twitter it is.

I don't know if it's a generational thing, or what. As soon as I discovered Twitter I very quickly understood how to use it for my benefit and how to get the most out of it. Is that because I'm in my early 20's or because of something else?

(Also, Twitter is much more than just "I'm eating a sandwich." People who tweet things like that either don't have a lot of friends, are being ironic, or haven't figure out how to use Twitter well. Twitter's about conversation, and no-one wants to talk about a sandwich, do they? Anyway, there's lots of tips on using Twitter well on the internet; just Google it and you'll find them.)

This post is so fragmented. Sorry 'bout that!
