I tried going to the Amazon website, and I am not able to either "refund" or "cancel" the orders, they just prompt me to update my card, which I can't do since it shouldn't have failed (just tried it and worked fine).
Is this a common occurrence? Will something happen should I fail to fix this in the 30 days?
Thanks.

Has happened to me when I tried to use points to purchase. I had to do a chat to have it fixed to take out using points and just use my credit card. I am not sure but it might not be in your books on manage books on the website, but yes it remains on your kindle for some odd reason. Check to see if it appears in manage kindle on a computer and if not then just order it again.
