I do like some long series. I'm not quite sure what is meant by multi-volume series since, to me, a series pretty much requires more than one book/volume. Perhaps the re-issuing of a series in a set of omnibus editions such as the 2 volume SFBC version of the Belgariad?

BTW, I do collect cookbooks though more as ebooks now.

The PBM is a bit of a gourmand.
