If I don't recognize the number, I let it go to voicemail. Though I will admit that most of the voicemails are simply due to stupid automation that does not recognize that they are being redirected and just continue playing their recording. I will admit to finding a bit of amusement in the voicemail messages in Korean, Mandarin and Cantonese, most of which according to one friend of mine are a mix of vaguely threatening demands for money, threats about immigration status and undecipherable requests along the lines of claims that they have recorded me viewing porn, etc.
