Exactly. This a text field (because of the %). A solution would be to remove the '%', something that I don't think would be worthy. I'll check if there is another way.

If a book is listed more than once in the 'Shelf view', then they MUST have different IDs. Now, if you want to check the differences, you could just mark the books, and compare the full entries in calibre.
