Personally I don't because I might forget to delete it, because it creates an additional copy. Also I don't own it, it's a loan so I'd not want to remove the DRM. Two good reasons to never remove DRM on borrows.

The main reason that some justify removing it and are not keeping a copy is if the formatting is really obnoxious, or the Library app is poor or they want to read on an eink reader that doesn't support that DRM.

I got an Android eink so as to use the local library's app on eink instead of my tablet.

I've never removed DRM from any library or subscription digital content.
