Just out of curiosity, were you using Prime Visa points (not to be confused with Kindle Rewards) or just the CC as the payment source? The reason I ask is because I had a similar glitch begin earlier this year when Prime Visa points for ebook purchases were finally allowed with one-click. With every purhase I receive a message such as "Something went wrong... cannot be processed... select another method of payment", but when checking my account the purchase successfully processes using my AMZ points. I still experience this error when purchasing ebooks with points but now I know to ignore it. In this case, it appears AMZ has not fixed all the bugs. Of course, this may or may not be related to your experience.
