Is there a 'calibre' on the taskbar?
Click it to make it the active window: Alt-spacebar: M
Now tap the Left arrow a number of times (lost Off to the right is most common). Did it come onto the screen? finish positioning: enter

ooooo o oooo! It's doing *something*! I did try this yesterday but I think your instructions were more clear and it's actually doing something! It's not working but my system has been weird today so I'll keep fiddling with it for a bit but I have more of a window than I've had in a few days!
OH! Hey there it is! I thought it was stuck and I was about to force close and relaunch! I am definitely copy/pasting your reply and saving it in my book editing notes txt file. I never would have thought to try this on my own but for the threads here because I only have one monitor and I ignore "second monitor" solutions. But if somehow it *thinks* I have a second and I don't, I shouldn't ignore second monitor solutions.
Thank you so much!
