I was elaborating on your first paragraph and had not read the rest closely enough to notice that you also wrote about something I just recently noticed, the difference between in book percentage and library view percentage.
I think in book is rounded up when appropriate and library view is truncated.
amazon's mathematics is weird and inconsistent throughout, including for battery state of charge.
