And there's another misunderstanding. My "wheel" comment (a well-known english addage) was not about Sigil. My point was that "fully functional" xhtml editors already exist. And that we have no interest in re-inventing that which already exists. Especially that which can already be utilized by Sigil).
You're not saying anything others have not already tried to tell us we should do. We understand everything you (and they) said. We simply disagree that Sigil should incorporate your ideas. That is all. Don't read too much into it. If your ideas are shared by enough people, others are free to fork Sigil's codebase and create the functionality you desire. That's how opensource software development works.
